Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapies offered:

Acupuncture

The Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of very fine, sterilized, single-use needles throughout the body at specific locations called acupoints. Stimulation of these acupoints with the needles balances the body's energy, promoting healing in the body.

Moxa Therapy

Moxabustion, or moxa therapy, is the burning of the herb mugwort (artemesia vulgaris) which is a part of traditional Chinese medicine.  I use moxa therapy often with Acupuncture to facilitate healing, increase energy, improve blood circulation, strengthen the qi and blood, warm and soothe the meridians.

Cupping

Cupping is a technique most beneficial for respiratory conditions, asthma, bronchitis, colds and flu, as well as muscular skeletal conditions of all kinds. Pressure is reduced inside a glass cup to create a vacuum on the skin during this painless technique. The pressure from the vacuum encourages the flow of qi and blood in the area beneath of cup.
